The type of card being applied for will determine the test that needs to be taken – the available tests are:

Booking
To book any of the Health Safety & Environment Tests, the CPCS Renewal Tests or the 1 day Health and Safety Awareness Course please call our information and booking line on 01638 751492.
If the candidate taking the test needs additional support e.g. help with accessibility or literacy please advise us when booking.
We can also supply the HS&E Tests revision book along with other study materials. Pre-test training can be carried out at our centre if requested.
Health, Safety and Environment Tests
The aim of the test is to examine the candidate’s knowledge over a wide range of Health and Safety topics in order to improve safety and productivity on site.
It is a computer based multi choice test and can be taken at our Training Centre in Kentford near Newmarket, Suffolk.
Everyone applying for or renewing a CSCS card must pass the appropriate HS&E (Health, Safety and Environment) Test and attend a 1 day Health and Safety Awareness course.
When applying for a first CPCS Plant Operator Card you must pass the Operative HS&E Test or if you are renewing your CPCS card you must also pass the appropriate CPCS Renewal Tests.
